MY, Malaysia
Assoc Prof Dato' Dr
Since earning my Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1999 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, I have built a distinguished career in orthopedics, focusing on shoulder and knee surgery, cartilage bio- resurfacing, and sports trauma. I've held significant roles, including Medical Lecturer, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, and Deputy CEO at Allianze College of Medical Sciences, and later as Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor at AUCMS. I currently lead the Arthroscopy and Sports Trauma Unit at UKM Medical Centre and head the UKM Articular Cartilage Research Group. My contributions to the field include pioneering research in stem cell treatments for knee cartilage issues, as well as the development of innovative orthopedic implants. Additionally, I've expanded my influence internationally, sharing knowledge through symposiums and live surgery courses across Asia.
