Prof Gang Li is a Professor and Principle Investigator, Director of Center for Locomotor System Regenerative Medicine and Technology, Institute of Biomedicine and Biotechnology, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen, China. His main research interests: Stem cells biology and applications in musculoskeletal tissue engineering; innovative applications distraction osteogenesis technologies. Published more than 360 papers with H index of 85 (2025-12). From 2020 to 2025, he is on Stanford University's list of the world's top 2% scientists
