Ms Shanthi is a nurse educator with a strong clinical and academic background in orthopedic nursing and rehabilitation. She currently serves as a nursing lecturer at a Ministry of Health training institute, where she is actively involved in teaching, clinical supervision, and research methodology. Her clinical foundation was established through years of hands-on practice in orthopedic nursing, including fracture management and postoperative care, prior to her transition into nursing education. Ms Shanthi’s academic interests focus on pain management, rehabilitation strategies, and evidence-based interventions aimed at improving functional outcomes in orthopedic patients. She is actively engaged in research, curriculum development, and professional activities within the orthopedic nursing community, including contributions to MONA scientific programs. She strongly believes in lifelong learning, interprofessional collaboration, and the translation of research into patient-centered clinical practice. It is a privilege for Ms Shanthi to share and learn alongside colleagues at this conference.
